Hi, my name is Colin Whiston. I started Woodlinn Garden Design and Maintenance in 2017 while studying for a BSc (Hons) in Horticulture at SRUC. After graduating in 2018 with my degree and an award from The Royal Highland and Agriculture Society for excellence in horticulture I turned my attention full time to the business taking on regular maintenance clients and one off maintenance and design projects. The range of activities I undertake include:
- One off garden tidy ups or regular garden maintenance
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance programmes, from one off to regular visits
- Pruning and hedge cutting
- Weeding and herbicide application. Authorised to use professional pesticides
- Garden design from individual borders to complete gardens, specialising in low maintenance urban gardens
- Garden diagnostics such as soil pH, soil type, drainage
- Planting and plant selection appropriate to your garden
